How It Works
Reddit Stats uses Reddit's official public API to fetch profile information. When you enter a username, we request the same publicly available data that anyone can see by visiting that profile on Reddit.com. Our tool then visualizes this data through charts and metrics to make patterns easier to understand.
All data processing happens in your browser. We don't store Reddit profile data on our servers – we simply help you visualize what's already publicly available.
Data Ethics
We take data ethics seriously. Our approach is guided by these principles:
- Minimal data access: We fetch only what's needed to provide analytics
- No data retention: Reddit profile data is processed client-side and not stored
- Responsible use: We explicitly prohibit using our tool for harassment, stalking, or surveillance
- Compliance: We respect Reddit's API terms and guidelines
